History of Experience
Before launching Builders Capital Mortgage in 2002,
we spent long hours around the table, hammering out
our
business plan, item by item. We had an idea — a
great idea — and we wanted to get it right. We
started with a mission that reached out to smaller
builders, underserved by regional banks and national
lenders. Then, we created a professional business model
that provides exceptional customer service, sophisticated
yet easy-to-use systems, and flexible underwriting
guidelines.
We’ve stood by that business model ever since.
The response from our clients tells us that our vision
was on target. Since the beginning, Builders Capital
has experienced solid growth and an ever-increasing
demand for our residential construction lending
products.
Back in 2002, we said yes to the unmet needs of smaller
builders. Today, those builders — our customers — come

with one-on-one assistance, either in person or by
phone.

and on schedule to ensure that our easy loan process

We can help when a bank cannot. Our flexible underwriting
guidelines feature lower credit scores, lower
income levels, and lower down payments. You can also
count
on us for fast turnaround. Once borrowers are
pre-qualified (which we can do right over the phone),
they just
fill out a few simple forms with less required
documentation.
We make our decisions within 24 hours so no one’s
left wondering about the status of the loan. We’ve
built our reputation on closing quickly on our
loans. Once underwriting signs off, we typically
send to
escrow for closing the following day.
